Airbnb Message Templates That Don't Sound Automated
Copy-and-adapt Airbnb message templates for every stage of the stay — booking to review request — written to stay warm and human even when they're automated.

Templates get a bad reputation because most of them read like a form letter. But a good template isn't a script you hide behind — it's a strong starting point you adapt, so every guest gets a warm, consistent message without you writing from scratch at 11pm. Here are templates for each stage of the stay, plus the small touches that keep them from sounding automated.
The principle: warmth first, facts second
Before the templates, the rule that makes all of them work: lead with a line of warmth, then deliver the information. "So glad you're coming!" before the check-in details reads as a person. The bare details alone read as a machine. (For the why behind this, see how to automate guest messaging without sounding like a robot.)
Booking confirmation
Hi [name] — thrilled to have you booked for [dates]! I'll send everything you need a couple of days before you arrive. In the meantime, just shout if you have any questions at all.
Short, warm, sets expectations. Don't dump check-in details here — it's too early and they'll forget.
Pre-arrival (2 days before)
Hi [name], your stay is almost here! Here's everything for a smooth arrival: [address], check-in any time after [time], and [self check-in / key] details below. Anything you're hoping to do nearby? Happy to point you to our favorites.
The closing question signals a real host, not a sequence.
Check-in day
Welcome, [name]! The place is ready for you. [Access instructions]. The WiFi is [network / password], and there's a guide to everything inside. Settle in — I'm a message away if you need anything.
Mid-stay check (optional)
Hi [name], hope you're enjoying [city]! Everything good with the place? No need to reply if all's well — just wanted you to know I'm here.
Checkout reminder
Morning [name]! Checkout is at [time] today. No need to clean — just pop the keys [where] and pull the door behind you. It's been a pleasure hosting you.
Review request (a day after checkout)
Hi [name], thanks again for staying! If you have a moment, a quick review would mean a lot — it genuinely helps. Hope to host you again sometime.
Where templates end and automation begins
Templates solve consistency. They don't solve timing or the dozens of off-script questions a guest actually sends — "can we check in early?", "is there parking?", "the TV remote isn't working." That's the gap automation fills: sending the right template at the right moment, and answering the real questions in your voice the rest of the time. It's also the front line of guest screening, since how someone communicates before booking tells you a lot.
Tired of copy-pasting templates? Ramblaa sends the right message at the right time and answers the off-script questions for you.
Join the waitlist for early access — limited to a small group of self-managing hosts.
Templates are a floor, not a ceiling. Start from these, make them sound like you, and let automation handle the timing — so every guest feels personally looked after, whether you're awake or not.
