Where Ramblaa started
Ramblaa began with a villa and a timezone. Our founder owns and rents a property on Airbnb from another country, hours ahead of both the guests and the staff. From that distance, the cracks showed fast. A guest’s question sat unanswered for hours. A cleaner arrived late. A check-in slipped. Not for lack of caring, but for lack of coordination.
The real lesson was this: running a villa isn’t only about talking to guests. It’s just as much about staff. The housekeepers, cleaners, and on-the-ground team are the ones who hold the keys, literally, and to every on-time, well-run stay. When communication with them breaks down, the guest experience breaks with it.
That’s the gap we’re built to close: coordinating guests and staff together, across timezones, so the experience holds up whether or not the owner is awake.
