Channel Manager
A channel manager keeps a single listing in sync across multiple sales channels — Airbnb, VRBO, Booking.com, and a direct-booking site — so that a reservation on one platform instantly blocks the same dates everywhere else.
Its core job is preventing double bookings and keeping rates and availability consistent. Channel managers focus on the booking and calendar layer; they are distinct from the property management systems and communication tools that handle operations after a booking is made.
